Where you went wrong was probably saying flowers only have one role. At least that's more than halfway through the poem this time.

This is just one of your million other identical songs that you've Shift+F7'ed every word of. Newsflash: Big words don't make you not awful. -0-
PS-I'm thinking of naming my next band "Shut Up the Baby". Do you get it?

Up to the last bit of the title, I thought this was going to be a poem about Battleship(tm) coordinates. Sadly, it wasn't.

Is the church both siding and stucco? How hideous. I suppose you'll say, religion usually is.

You again. Do you consider the Big Bang and creation of Earth to be part of the process of evolution, or did the poem just kind of spaz out at that point?

Great. And you've been reading Cannery Row, too. Extra points.

God, you're spineless. I suppose you think you're heroic for that?

At a guess, an adolescent martyr complex. Seriously. Don't worry, you'll grow up before you do yourself any real harm. If it's taking you a little longer than other people, that's just because you're a precious flower and require extra special packing.

Utter drivel. Your poems have the power to make you, Dovina, personally, however far you think you're removed by narrative distance and metaphor from their content, look silly as you only could in real life by forgetting to wear pants to a 'Save Killer Asteroids' rally.

THE ROGUEFORT MADE ME VOID (Void) by I Like to Void
The Roguefort made me void
While saying (as I like to say) "void"
And getting cold
Cuts for a party at my friend Lloyd's.
As I say, I was getting cold
Cuts when this guy who resembled Freud
Came up with a cheese sampler tin -
I'm only human, though usually I try to avoid
Supermarket samples, owing to the hemorrhoids
I sustained as a result of steroid
Overuse while a roadie for the band Pink Floyd,
Though I'm currently unemployed.
But the hemorrhoids, as I say, are deployed
concentrically around the anal void
Roger Waters still occasionally comes
to plumb
As I mumble "void", and again "void",
As the others have tried so
The silence of void filled us over again
In hundred miles green and blue yards.

"Clouds sweep across the sky in an ominous manner" would be great if you were writing opening stage notes for a Kull the Conqueror sequel.

I'm left wondering, have you ever read your poems aloud? ... to people? I haven't in years. I wonder if that explains a lot.

VADA
His face hurts, and where is his glasses? He can't see without his glasses! Put his glasses on!
(Harry and Shelly are rapidly approaching Vada, Shelly takes hold of her and tries to pull her away)
Put on his glasses! He was gonna be an acrobat.
HARRY
He's gone sweetheart. He's gone!
VADA
Get away, get away!!
