Good, if voted *8*
Re: "She Phoned This Morning" by ARTIE 21-Jun-04/1:19 AM
Sounds too much like only the decent beginning of a more substantial poem. I appreciate the use of language. *7*
Re: Exist For You by WithoutLife 21-Jun-04/1:17 AM
not my genre exactly, but well done. *8*
Re: unbroken bottle by skaskowski 21-Jun-04/1:10 AM
"piss" kind of threw me off, and this is almost too close to prose for me, but impressive nonetheless. Great imagery and conveyance. *10*
Re: Center Of The Universe by Dovina 21-Jun-04/1:01 AM
Excellent, cruel, biting ending makes this work. Would've liked to see it split up though, and the last line should have a comma. *8*

First two comments from bad limerick
Re: a comment on With Reckless Abandon by MacFrantic 9-Jun-04/6:51 PM
Now, I wouldn't say gibberish, exactly. I used these terms metaphorically, which is ironic when the whole thing is a metaphor itself.
Re: a comment on With Reckless Abandon by MacFrantic 9-Jun-04/6:49 PM
I know! I was so proud of that!
Re: With Reckless Abandon by MacFrantic 9-Jun-04/3:13 PM
If god'swife is so keen on that little *2*, then I suggest that a reason be provided.

Anything below a 3 without so much as scant resonance of a rationale is total bullshit*
Re: a comment on Humpty Dumpty's Regrettable Fate by MacFrantic 26-May-04/9:06 AM
It's not a limerick:
AABBA
Just a rhyme:
ABCCB
But thanks a lot anyway

Re: a comment on On the Discovery of High Noon and The Devil in a Glass Jar. by MacFrantic 5-May-04/11:46 AM
*jarred* means -put in a jar- I was simply going for the image of the devil demanding my soul from within a jar. Which reminds me.

"In England Smoky the Bear is not the forest fire prevention representative. They have Smacky the Frog.
It's just like a bear, but it's a frog. I think it's a better system, I think we should adopt it. Because bears
can be mean, but frogs are always cool. Never has there been a frog hopping toward me, and I thought
' man, I'd better play dead. Here comes that frog...' You never say here comes that frog in a nervous
manner. It's always optimistic. Hey here comes that frog, al-right. Maybe he'll come near me so I can
pet him, and stick him in a mayonnaise jar, with a stick and a leaf, to recreate what he's used to."

Re: California triolets by zodiac 5-May-04/8:43 AM
I love subtlety and I find the use of semicolons to accent the meaning of the words a perfect fit.
Incredible imagery. *10* This is my favorite poem in a while.
