Have you fucked any of them? Then how do you know they aren't?

Funny, I just thought it sounded funny.

I like this kind of biographical poetry and I'm glad to see you do too.

You've surprised me with your choice of subject.
Speaking the mind of a real person you have no personal affiliation with? Dovina certainly has stamped her great influence on us all.
"imagines the future like a train bearing down fast." is a great line.

Yeah, it does kinda remind me of her stuff.

Nice.
Is this a response to where the new trend of poetry should go or a response to the old form being relevent?
Re: a comment on Penny Loafer Blues by ALChemy 9-Feb-06/9:27 AM
I did mean the double meaning but I think it might have gotten through even if I had used the correct spelling.

Re: a comment on The Perigenetic Prayer by ALChemy 9-Feb-06/7:33 AM
Thanks for the link.
I was looking into the Mary Magdalen stuff a while back. She get's very poetic when she talks about Jesus.

Thank God I kept my poem shorter than that though.

It moves along quite swiftly or maybe that's just how I chose to read it(I don't know) but when I read it at that pace I found it quite passionate.
Re: a comment on The Perigenetic Prayer by ALChemy 9-Feb-06/7:06 AM
No, but a couple months ago I was scanning through a couple articles and even saw a show on the History Channel-(I think) about the Gnostic Gospels. If you've got a link to that I'd be more than glad to take a look at it though.
Re: a comment on My Father’s World by Dovina 9-Feb-06/7:01 AM
I only meant use the ("") so it looks more intentional and less like you were at a loss for the right words a just stuck a cliche in to get you to the next line.

By the way- Love the "gumption" "unction" half rhyme.

Not quite sure about the capital F in the first "Fire".
If "More than you can shake a stick at" was something he said alot (which is just my hunch) then put it in quotations please. I thought it was a great sentiment and quite deep. Well expressed D.

No, I'm thinking his humor is more pot induced sarcasm and so is best a-la bong.

Thanks, I discovered once while in art school that "The Shining" is the funniest movie ever if you're sloshed when you watch it.
