Ronald MacDonald looks like Mohammed lets kill the hamburger freaks we'll shoot 'em and loot 'em and cut off their heads but who made this ugly connection?

This is the age of the secular, it must instead be MeccaDonald's. I predict a riot (in Beirut).
Re: Hailing Miriam by Ranger ALChemy 24.74.100.11 9-Feb-06/7:13 AM
It moves along quite swiftly or maybe that's just how I chose to read it(I don't know) but when I read it at that pace I found it quite passionate.

http://www.webcom.com/gnosis/naghamm/thunder.html I have no idea about the program, I discovered this during research. It's about the Divine Feminine, so the second stanza in yours reminded me of it. Enjoy!

Yes, give and take here, old fruit. You can only get away with not commenting on others' work if your name is -=Dark_Angel=-,P.I. I'm not sure if this poem is metaphorical or if it's a direct description...if it's the former, you need to make it a little clearer for the benefit of morons like myself; if it's the latter, well then it's nicely written but doesn't really elicit any sort of thought from the reader.

No, but a couple months ago I was scanning through a couple articles and even saw a show on the History Channel-(I think) about the Gnostic Gospels. If you've got a link to that I'd be more than glad to take a look at it though.

Yep, think I'll use 'em.

Or tattoo his tunic with a funny-faced Mohammed while he’s facing Mecca on his knees.

I only meant use the ("") so it looks more intentional and less like you were at a loss for the right words a just stuck a cliche in to get you to the next line. By the way- Love the "gumption" "unction" half rhyme.

Line two is a bit forced.

Some “good stuff” was handed down to me from my father.

In that case, why not polish a Kurd?

A very angry Cohen. Nice.

No, and it seems like such a worthwhile thing to do.
Re: a comment on My Father’s World by Dovina Dovina 67.72.98.83 9-Feb-06/6:55 AM
The capital “Fire” is just the first word in a quote; no other significance. I debated using quote marks here and around “More than you can shake a stick at.” But since I’m omitting punctuation generally, I didn’t. In a way these lines are better without, because that makes them my words perigenitally transferred. My father didn’t write, and he wouldn’t say a high-falutin word for love nor money. So I’m not convinced that prayers for it really work.

Wow. Ever read 'The Thunder, Perfect Mind' (from the Gnostic Gospels)?

Spelling and grammar! It makes it easier to read. I'm not yet sure whether I love or hate the last line...judgement will be suspended.
Re: Moonlight Paradox by Glasseyez Ranger 62.252.32.15 9-Feb-06/6:43 AM
Abstract, sometimes nonsensical. I love it. Stanza two equals Matrix by Catholic theology. Everything's about balance and the equation. Yes. The answer had better not disappoint.

Proof, if it were needed, that you can't polish a turd.
