You dope, everyone writes about superheroes. Do you really want to be remembered by history as "the guy who did what Dave Matthews did?"

The cross is not a symbol of a good luck charm, nor of a gruesome method of execution. It IS a good luck charm and IS a gruesome method of execution.
As usual, your grammar's a total mess. How are we supposed to continue this discussion if you keep commenting like an epileptic uselessly flapping his spasm-riddled arms on the keyboard?

Look, I'm not trying to break your balls; I really can't even tell if you're quoting Asaph ironically or not. You have to admit that's a pretty big thing to think about while reading it.
And besides, you gave me crap for... something about having an opinion on this poem. I don't remember what now, and can't be bothered to check. So, if your not a total retard, respond in some intelligible fashion to the following prompt:
PROMPT: A crack addict pops out of a dark alley, puts a gun to your head, and says, "Choose which you are the most in favor of: the evildoers in Psalm 73 or the virtuous pureheart. As long as you choose one - any one, it doesn't matter - you will not be shot. If you fail to choose, you'll be shot until you're long past dead. I'm a crack addict, see. I'm crazy."

Yes, Shakespeare is, isn't he?
Do you introduce yourself to people as a writer?

Q3: That's illegible. Would you care to try again? (HINT: Looks aren't suicide implements either, except in your backward notion of suicide, which we should define for the sake of future comments in this string as "almost anything dramatic and self-glorifying as long as it doesn't involve actual death")
Q4: That's because you're a preteen. And why did you write a poem about suicide then?

Too bad. You'd have probably come off cleverer if you'd been the speaker of the poem instead of yourself, but not much.
not_a_philosopher: if perhaps you could remember that the view of a comment is not necessarily the etc etc etc

Re: a comment on Plato by not_a_philosopher |

She never does. Dovina's real answer is most likely "Things other people believe are evil but I don't believe are evil are not actually evil. Ergo: trump." But it's unlikely she's even thought it out that far, and as things stand, she'll probably continue to "dodge" even the most simply put of questions and consider herself "wittier" and "more than usually astounding" for it.

That's funny, considering the title is taken almost word-for-word from the poem, while your titles are unfailingly wooshes of babble.

What do you mean by 'average'? Oh, that they have individual characteristics. Hey, good call.
Because surely you can't mean 'as averagely intelligent as you and I'. Since that's what retarded means: lower than average intelligence.
PS-"as average as you and I" is really great if you think about it drunk or for longer than ten seconds.

Oh.
You retard. Of all the people involved in this poem, would you consider yourself MORE in the lines of
a) the wicked (ie, also ironic quoter of Asaph), or
b) the pure-hearted?
YOU CAN'T ANSWER "NONE". THAT IS AN ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE ANSWER EXCEPT AS "EXTREME RETARD AEROBATICS". And have you noticed that every time I ask you to take a position on something, you answer that you have no position. Do you consider yourself "wily" and "Socratic"?

Re: a comment on The Symbol by Dovina |

ADDENDUM: The crucifix is actually a symbol for death-overcome - except in the case of poor (ie, Latin-American) Catholics, for whom it's a symbol for death-about-to-be-overcome.
Yes, you can argue, but it's going to be 10 years of Catholic School vs. you mangling an email forward mangling George Carlin.

Bizarrely, Boy George released it in 1992 (on the soundtrack for the film The Crying Game).
A few parts of this are decent, but you should have known better.
