But the most controversial question is 'was Mary actually a prostitute?' Or was she as many say an honourable princess who was later defamed as a prostitute by the church to save their own reputation?
Questionable and controversial!

What a pathetic prophecy. I'd never see these things coming.
Try something like: Dovina and Zodiac marry after she runs over his Jetta with her truck and they see each other for the first time. On their wedding night they engage in the rare cannibalerotica in which they devour each other from the toes up until there is nothing left but their heads left. The remaining few seconds of their lives are subsequently spent bickering with each other.
Now that's a fuckin' prophecy

Jeez. I wonder where you guys get these ideas of college girls. I'm studying electrical engineering, and not one of the girls I know are sex-crazed nymphomaniacs. They're more likely to be ponytailed geekettes in a predominantly masculine environment.

PPS-That's why I said 'suggesting' in my original comment. The comment to respond to is the original, not this. Don't get off topic.

PS-I just read your comment above. This poem isn't about blame in the same way that the sentence "Water is made of hydrogen and oxygen molecules, but you're gay" isn't about gayness. It's about water.

Are you suggesting it's as unreasoning to blame God and Bush for virus and unpreparedness as it is to blame Donald Duck? Or merely that people are prone to blame everything, the right along with the wrong? Either way, it's dangerous talk on your part.

Weighted score uses the idea that the more people vote on a poem, the more its true ranking shows. Say you post a poem and the first vote on it is a 10. Then your unweighted average is 10 and you're the best poem on poemranker. Now say another 298 people vote 10 on your poem and one person votes 9. Now your unweighted average is 9.997 and someone who's just posted a poem and gotten one 10-vote beats you. Supposedly, the weighted average becomes closer to the true average the more people vote for you, though I have my doubts about nentwined's math. If you're interested (or Indian), the formula is
WEIGHTEDAVERAGE = 5+((avg-5)/(1+e^(3-votes/3)))

Then you see what the problem is. For another example, I wouldn't write a poem called "I Love an 8-year-old Girl", although my wife certainly was one at one point. At worst, I would write "I Love a Grown Woman Who Was Once an 8-year-old Girl". Which means something totally different.
The obvious answer to all this is, Jesus loved Mary when she was a prostitute and nothing He did was wrong. My answer to that is, That's exactly right.

This isn't about blame. Even though I used the word five times in the poem, it's really about causes and importance.

You might want to receive comfort by printing this poem and using it for a bookmark. Then you can check each one off as it occurs. Unless, of course, you become one of the 20 million.

"Your lips are TOO* tight"
Anyway this has a lyrical feel to it and could work if put to some music. Needs a bit tweaking here and there I believe.
