This was quite good but something has gone wrong with the apostrophes - they come out as an a with a circumflex on top! No such typo problems at MY website, so accept my invitation to join: http://newpoetryshared.proboards.com

This is very good. I have just joined this site but the script is so small I can barely see! Can I invite you to join MY poetry site? http://newpoetryshared.proboards.com ???

From halfway around the globe, an answer comes Are we the only three? Where are they, those pundits for poetic improvement? are they busy, or just dead? become stiff-shirt bigots maybe tossed out the truths they yelled for traitors all, and cowards!
Re: Munnar -a must -see destination by Jessina amanda_dcosta 82.178.136.239 16-Sep-11/1:25 PM
I know Munnar... so I can connect with its landscape. but from just the description, it doesn't take me there poetically, although you may rhyme. While reading it I was looking for something that would make me say WOW as in 'yes, this is the poetry-inspiring MUNNAR'.... apart from the generalized description that every traveler to Munnar posts. I know you added some adjectives to describe it, but sometimes the reader wants more than a description. We want to find the poet in the poem.

Across the Atlantic and Indian Oceans or the Pacific, the other way round.... sound waves travel. I hear you. -10- for the message! :)

Don't really know "and all". I presume the dark angel contingent graduated. I fell out of phase, and then got more serious about poetry (and trying to get paid for it, which precluded posting anything to poemranker). And maybe it's just too bogged down, maybe the voting (ranking?) needs some other scale measure, ... probably things that are more recent should get precedence in terms of what get shown. Got some free google advertising money today, tossing half of it at poemranker to see if anything happens.

Speaking of the world, What the hell happened? The ranker and all?
Re: a comment on Help! by Dovina nentwined 66.74.95.0 14-Sep-11/12:09 PM
depends on the time of day, or how far the collective stick-up-ass is. senryu... or sure. I'd leave a high vote on it. Ah, the end of the world....

Classy enough to call it a haiku?
Re: Help! by Dovina nentwined 66.74.95.0 14-Sep-11/11:19 AM
Classy!

hmm. it looks like that wasn't me. I hope that wasn't me. ah, the intricacies and confuse-ancies of poemranker... ;)

Oh, sorry. I'll rephrase: I hope that in the last 6 years you have died of throat cancer.

Re: David & Derrick by TheModestKing nypoet22 75.74.75.115 12-Aug-11/8:32 AM
the first line is great, but the rest lacks specifics. what behavior? kill what? drink what?
Re: a comment on True Love by Jessina nypoet22 75.74.75.115 12-Aug-11/8:27 AM
wow, don't hold back, tell us what you REALLY think! :) i'd say true love is cherishing and accepting each other as we really are, which includes the lovemaking, the ass-wiping and everything in between. i got a kick out of your imagery though.
Re: The Owl in the Wasteland by Caducus nypoet22 75.74.75.115 12-Aug-11/8:13 AM
i like the word use and images. thirsting for a babe that sleeps in the sun's fleece, our bones become hands shaped at midnight, let dusk hatch us silver. super. this would be a nine or a ten, but the very last line seems not to fit at all.
