how can someone feel loud because of what you had been? Inner knowingness sounds convoluted.

Everyone's always looking into everyone else's faces in these poems. how can their face ever be yours. are you a mad plastic surgeon?

A group hara-kiri. We, of the poet class have been disgraced by repetitively being forced to look at this dreck. beats a group hug. Thanks p&k. I'd love it if you'd visit 'Fetch' and help us out.

Good night Aragon, goodnight Zee, goodnight Shin, oh and by the way congradulations on this triumph of a comments section! Your 14 syllables have inspired an epic. I'd give you a 10 but it would be a shame to add votes to this masterpiece.

How is it you know what the whole point of poetry is, but everyone elses perceptions on the subject of what poetry is, are invalid?

Good moring Christof, I was refering to Dark Angel's disputing other people's definitions of poetry, but then having the tenacity to post his own narrow explanation diagnosis. It's these machines that make it hard to distinguish precisely what people are saying or whom.

Are you published? Have you self published? I'm interested in having some of your poems in a proper book I can read.

I love e.e. cummings. I think the first time i read him i must have been 8 or 9. He made me excited about the possibilities of words. He's a terrific example of simplicity, but he had a particular genius for words which he developed. i'm not saying don't keep it simple, I only mean make it more interesting. -- humble one(gifted with illimitable joy)/birdsing's love's every truth/beyond all since and why/asking no favor but/(while down come blundering proud hugenesses of hate/sometimes called world)to sing.-- cummings always added that little touch of detail the makes his poetry accesible to humans.

why do people insist on putting word's in my mouth/ When did I say Mr. cummings was simple? Some of his poems have a certain simplicity simplicity to them. i never stated all his poems are simple. Please don't assume you know what I'm talking about. At least mchthtmky (I've forgotten how to spellhis name) asked questions.

all that aside, I have been arguing with everyone it seems about exactly that. The turn of the phrase. The fact that poetry is not meter or emotion per se. Anyone can paint a tree, that doesn't mean it's a good painting of a tree. I've been taking alot of gruff for my stand on this. For you to confront me on this very point is, well, dare I say it, ironic,

As an 8 year old he did seduce me with sound, all whistles far and wee. Naturally i wasn't drawn to his more, we sans love equals mob, type stuff. but i've always loved him for his mastery, and his hard work.

Christof-- what makes me unbearable is what makes us all unbearable, our inability to perceive ourselves. I mis-understand, and I am mis-understood. You have the permission to be as personal as you like, because you are a gentle man and a gentleman. we have a chemistry you and I, here among these chips and wires we have developed an understanding. Unfortunately I got loads of misunderstandings developing out there. Anagram interrupted a pointless arguement i was having and shed some light. Sooooo, I am grateful to Anagram for making sense, and giving insight. I'm very self-confident, to a fault. Please explain the difference between defensiveness and defending myself. TARQUIN-- thank you for your vote. I'm glad you enjoyed this. Babbit11-- David is a friend who was there when the girls came over. He was making them laugh those lovely squealy giggly laughs. I struggled with that line for weeks and finely gave it up. Suggestions? Abrupt tone shifts? my poems are usually heard never read, maybe i'm writing for the voice and not the page. Could you show were please, and suggest how I might fix them. Thanks in advance.

Christof--Broad Majestic 12. or MJ-12, was/is an organization used to monitor the agencies that monitor. i.e. CIA, FBI,NSA,DIA and other secret covert intelligence agencies. Originally assembled by the military to study the Rosewell/Magdalena UFO crash recovery. It is an ultra top secret research and development intellegence operation inside the National Security Counsel. Within this group is a group called the Jason Society. The top twelve men in this group are known as the Majestic 12. Who ever the director of the CIA is is appointed the title of J-1 and becomes the director of this group. Anyway there all kinds of conspiracies and cross conspiracies regarding this group. They make sure the peasants are only given the info they deam as "safe". There is some discussion that they are behind the illicit drug trade in America to create funds for their projects, and to weed out(no pun intended) "the weak individuals in our society" Anyway since I posted their name on this site no doubt we are all being monitored. If you believe in this stuff. I read "Chariots of the Gods" when I was 11yrs. old and between that and my parents taking me to see the planet of the Apes I never fully recovered. Do you believe?
