Not so. I challenge both of you to name another baby besides Jesus that can be described as 'true'.

A nice, light poem with good rhythm. But again I must take exception to lines that add nothing new or do not say what you mean. These, at least: "And things to do and say." "Through remorse and a helping hand." I doubt if you mean "remorse".

Your plea has sopken directly to the ambiguities I was experiencing this very morning. That someone besides me has suffered from these same tearings and has so cogently presented light in the darkness is akin to an instance of religious grace. Trouble is, my horse is too tall and I'd only splash in the mud dismounting here.

Yes, the baby Jesus is true and sweet. But aren't all babies? It's like saying the tennisball is round and fuzzy. Since your poem is about what distinguishes Jesus from other babies, it seems the line should address that, unless you wish to say that, as a baby, Jesus was about the same as most other babies. That would not be a bad thing to say.

yes, all that is true.

No, he said he was talking about grass with ice on it. Very good observation. Being retarded, I did not know that.

DOVINA: I'm not retarded! What an awful thing to say! So typical of someone like you! ZODIAC: You just accused me of having fits. And of learning a word from a Californian. DOVINA: That's so different! What I'm saying is true, while what you're saying is untrue.

Dovina, i have been reconsidering, the line ' baby jesus, true and sweet', to begin with. and i feel that baby jesus is true. there's nothing false about him, he is the truth. as for sweet, aren't babies sweet, cute, and the like. that's how we got christmas. its just a simple prayer, written by a simple heart, to a simple baby. You see, i did give thought to your point. Merry Christmas.....in advance. i might not be around for about ten days or so. In case i manage to sneek in, you might get another wish from me. Have a whole lot of gluttons to feed tomorrow.......our warm up X'mas party. Ginger wine just made....wanna try some?

You are so retarded.

Caducus, he learned a cold-country word from a warm-country Californian and is having fits. Please be patient.

There's a gay line in it, but the rest is aimed at the absurdity of "privacy" as many people view it - something lost. Now may I please have a nice comment?

zodiac,You depict a typical 'crab' nature. the moment one climbs up the sides of the vessel their in, the other fellow crabs always pull the other down telling it to join them on 'earth'... well, try giving her a way out. you might see her coming back ( in polite terms) to terra firma after finding no landing on the clouds.....oops i forgot we're talking about horses here. At the moment let her enjoy her stallion -Split Fire. surely you have an ounce of generosity in you, for that, haven't you. Or am I wrong?

I've tried, amanda, believe me. God only knows how many olive branches I've offered, how callously my advances have been rebuffed. I wonder sometimes why I keep trying. But then I get a glimmer of hope, a sign that, maybe, my efforts are finally paying off, that Dovina can climb off her high horse and rejoin regular, earthbound humanity.

I thought you might have meant grass. (to Dovina: hoarfrost - ha!) That's fine. Don't say soil, then. It sounds like you're talking about swords made out of soil. Even 'the grass that the soil waves around like swords' is weak. Just drop the misleading 'soil' altogether.

Yes it does make you long for the days when industrial and agricultural greed forced us into civil war and then later into the great depression.

Surely, even you can see that it sums up SOMEBODY ELSE'S thought.
