Burning a dance on the night
Cousins to the stars
Hypnotic dancers
Twine in sinuous rhythms
Bright flames sway and die
Coals glow on gray ash
A fierce dragon-belly red
Start to dim and fade

I'm not much of a haiku evalu-ater, but i likes this one. i likes mines rawwwww....a
I like the progression. I think historically haiku were supposed to be twinned with renga's to do something like this. (or something like that -- what do I know? :) I do like this.
