Shared favourates might help foster community. Bit like del.icio.us, so when you view a poem you get a list of people who have it as their favourate, each name being a link to a list of all their favourates (or their profile with the list?).

RSS feeds! For individuals so its easy to track when a favourate posts a new one and perhaps of categories. It would take 5 minutes and open the site up to whole new worlds of trafic.
