i will bare it: (Free verse) by Sapphire
cleave the earth with my tears of turmoil blister my feet in pilgrimage fasten the yoke of the weight of the world over my troubled shoulders trudge the quagmire of remorse to till the fields where dispair grows for reaping of my life force sustanence trample the fragile petals again it shall rise, like the phoenix the crush of cruelty only making it stronger sew the apparations of my sordid past to my bootheels for onlookers to ridicule tones of chimes in the temple of time ring it out eternal, walk on into oblivion

Up the ladder: Question of the day
Down the ladder: God and Country

This poem looked and resembled Helen Keller taking a long nap. At least to me it did.
