listen to me hearken to my words i speak the truth and shepherd the herds to better lives beyond what you know so, into your mind i will sow all the necessary wisdoms and learnings in life whereas love is concerned to take an adequate wife believe me for i speak from experience with these words i give you deliverance

Almost biblical but hardly poetic

it does have a bigger than life feel - and I'm gonna disagree with the dear with headlights; it is quite poetic (what isn't? Sounds like attitude to me).

I don't really get the bit about taking an adequate wife though - unconvincing our vague, somehow.

If you paid a guy to read this in a drunk Irish accent? I'd pay to see it. My favourite was "Hearken".
I, for one, had to read the bible several times whilst I was at the private boys shavery. Forced to sing beautiful Psalms in their entireties. Lord, it was a bore, but I believe your mentally retarded approach to preaching (great gimmick by the way) is much better. Because, it really speaks to the underdogs. The mistreated people of a lower more depraved caste in our indifferent society. The illiterate.
