The Path of Least Resistance (Free verse) by eliastemplar
The path of least resistance makes it's mating call to sweet submission Like the passive tempermental whine of engines lacking soil to grind So leave your patsy goals behind and ride your sheepish mount with pride.

Up the ladder: The Heart of a Man
Down the ladder: Myopic Labotomized Hubris

Sheepish mount - Don Quixote almost. I never thought I'd see basic military training in a poem like this either.
