Thracian mountains until the Sea (Ode) by Shardik
In the woods that bore me. The lyre, with flute, that brought me up. To sing the songs of olde. Collecting moisture in God's cup. A lover's muse needs chasing. Through thick, heath, and grove all day. Because, life's to short for wasting. On Kings that need more pawns to play. So I strum my chords for living. To drink, and dance, then fish the Sea. These things should be a given. But men will never let this be. Your fear of death will trick you. It'll make you lie, and cheat, or harm. But must you feel the need too, trade your honey for their swarm? The race of men shall always repeat the past then fall asleep. Right up until our final days. I pray the lord my soul to keep. Sleepwalking paths overgrown, now alone. You came here as one, and not a soul more. Yet, you fight to regain youth with a moan. Missing the root, ignoring your core.

Up the ladder: 9/11 tribute
Down the ladder: Birth

I hope this gets the recognition you deserve here for this adventurous piece. I see where you could have been inspired about this after reading Corinthians 14:2,9, lots of fun in this to be found, hellenic culture, doctrines and I am trying to study this to find the connections I think your writing about. Cant really vote till its absorbed. Polished balls though for finding such a subject, nice one

Thanks, Orpheus, is from there, and almost every famous greek based music myth, and gods, and the ultimate muses originated from there. I'm just doing my duty for the world and my ancestors with this ode. Growing up a bit, if you will, just for a spell. You and the dark one usually rate poems at the same time every day. Is that because it's around the time England wakes up for muffins and tea? do you drink tea or coffee in the morning or vice versa? by the way , "time machine" with Guy Pierce... Fucking heaves! Thought you should know in case you attempt to rent, and if it's to late, i'm sorry.

Have you ever even been to Macedonia? No. I suggest you write on Dumbo goes to Whittier and back to Tomkat. Here's a 4 for writing about something you know nothing about.

Yes I've been there, twice, nice try though! You must think because I wasn't there while we got to know each other last year for a whole three months that was my only window of travel opportunity? I lived in Amsterdam for two months when I was 24, I went then, twice. But mostly island hopping, my family is from Thrace though Tanya. I have a famous greek uncle who writes illustrated books about birds. So, yes, there, and France, Germany, Holland, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Hungary, Prague and quite a few others, so do me a favor, get another abortion on me. Tell them to increase the suction this time, to eleven, which is one more than ten in case your baffled these days by simple arithmetic.

Everyone must see Thrace and its mountains, its interesting as Thrace has connotations with Bacchus and this site has a Bachus. I hope people read AND study this poem its quite a unique poem identifying with heritage and a yearning for reason of who we are and of the affect of our origins and chosen home lands.

From A Website on Thrace and its history and I must say absolutely fascinating.

Threcian scenery ranges from picturesque mountain villages to crystal clean sandy beaches -- that have all been awarded with the EEC flag -- and lakes with ducks and swans in them. It is said that in Thrace, every step is a journey and visitors realize that since the first time they put their foot on this really Great Land.

My dear boy this deserves to be read. 9

Dear Horus here is that website.
http://www.grecian.net/GREECE/thrace/thrace.htm.

I also advise downloading comet cursor and use foreword Thracian mountains. Comet Cursor is a comprehensively useful tool.
