April Showers (Sonnet) by mindsigns
Touch the sky and bring it down
Caress it as your child
Be barren no more!
Her eyes, pure blue, towards nature's mound
Hanging above the the smile
From her face the tears pour!
So young and helpless, still fearing the world
She lets the traffic pass
and waits alone!
Her body trembles, an open door?
All attend a mass
Each in hand, a stone....
Empty space, Her beauty bruised
Innocence fade, emotions used
