Good to the Last Drop

Swirling wisps Of smoke and ash, Evidence of my fury, Float high in cerulean sky. High above the evergreens, And then vanish Into the crisp morning air, In but a mere sliver Of measured time, To chase your spirit, As I stare into the fire. Transfixed. Thinking of you, And what I've done. Drinking coffee. Black, bitter, and strong. As perfect as my hate.
