if she only knew (Free verse) by ChunkyHunkyMonkey I wonder if she ever knew i loved her?
For every little thing i did
to her it didnt matter.
I was a fool for ever thinking she was the perfect girl
I did everything, I was the typical Prince Charming
But to her i was only a plaything
I wish i never left her side for I loved her dearly
I loved her I alwayz did
But for everytime i said I Love You
she would say Ditto
I wished she would have cared more as I did for her
She was my true Angel but later i realized
she was my little devil
After a while she lost interest and it hurt
I asked myself why me why did she leave me?
Was it because i didnt love her was it because i didnt care
no, it was because she lost faith in me
My love was true and strong but hers was just a playful way of saying hi,
but that doesn't matter
I will go on and live my life the way it should be happy and very
enjoyablle
She is now a mere thought of the past
But one thing remains she will be my first Sweetheart

What if the people to whom you are causing pain, are themselves causing even more people even more pain? Could you bear to cause them pain? Ahhhhhh...it's me...well not really. Now I must go on a blind date with a writer/skateboarder from Culver City.....ahhhhhhh.....what should I wear????...who cares.
I wouldn't say this is particularly poignant or heart wrenching but its faily well told and from the heart so a worthy 7, i too have written of loss (a lot)
Quite sweet, a good effort much better than celebrating yourself here is a 7
