-untitled- (Free verse) by althea7
I place my hand over
my face
on my windswept lashes and dainty
feet
pale and tingling
from the shame
guilty thoughts < BR> to dream that
i for once
had won the tears beneath my
lashes....
i beheld the torn of my
stature to look upon
your face and see the
reaping pain of
i.
the clinging tides of shrouded
rushing passion
feelings to sooth
my absurd stance
to hope to pray..to feel
what i cannot say
for even when i try
you have turned away
and all i could see
are tears
beneath my lashes
and & lt;BR> i.
