Impervious (Haiku) by heart
Bright sun, sky smiling on sparkling leaves, warbling wren. Bouncing off tired soul.

Up the ladder: Full Fathom Five
Down the ladder: Search of Love

One of those long, stressful workdays had come to a close. I was drained, and the late summer afternoon was doing its best to coax me back to peacefulness on the drive home.

Oh yes! Tired soul, of course, and bouncing not sticking. No wonder I didn't quite get the title. The scene swept me away.

This poem, as a familiar pair of pants on a Sunday, is caked in shite.
