Steak and Satin (Free verse) by Dovina
Tiny pearl earrings,
delicate and black,
concealed in flowing hair.
Dainty ankle bracelet,
almost hidden in lacy folds
of broomstick skirt.
Moving curls, tickling shoulders,
induce seductive smile.
I slip a shoe,
slide a foot on side-calf soft,
slither a hand to
sense neat shape of knee.
My little secrets.
Sitting straight and proud,
wearing nipples
as jewelry,
sensual, alone,
with maybe a watching eye.

My vote is for Busch.
I give this poem two nipples up. (*Y*)
Now get me my beer WENCH!
1) People who are Republican are less likely than non-Republicans to own passports. Do you agree with that? Passport ownership isn't a definition of Republicanism, but it is related. Don't think I'm changing the subject. This is called an analogy.
2) No, you wouldn't.
3) To that I'd add, what is any discussion of race good for?
4) You didn't say the black race and white race are widely different. You said "the most different race from his [-=Dark_Angel=-'s]" and "about as different as it gets". Surely even you can make that distinction.
Look, all I ask is that when we have a discussion, you stick somewhere near the opening topic. You usually pick up on some side issue, and get so stuck to it that you won't even listen to my suggestion that we get back on track. It's so easy to criticize on issues like wording and implications that your comments on them are hardly worthy of rebuttal. Anybody can find a little flaw and magnify it. The harder and more constructive thing is to stay with a topic.

I, Dovina, without reservation or qualification retract my statements of 01-Nov-05 to the effect that the black race is the most different from the white race. I did not mean that there is only a wide difference between them. The black race is not the most different from the white race.

Until you do, I'm afraid we're stuck on this nightmarish tangent. In my defense, I thought this was going to be resolved a week ago.
I see now that your passion will never subside. You will clutter each and every poem, mine or not, until I give in to you and answer why I said blacks are the most different from whites, or retract it. Well ok then. I now commit to doing that, but it will take some time which I donât have now. Perhaps this will abate the onslaught.
