Snow (Free verse) by lil_evil_boi
Standing under the frozen sky, feeling a fluffy white and shy. Winter brings cold and frosty nights, all you see are candlelights. When snowflakes are falling very clear, it’s a sign that winter’s near. So quietly and peacefully new snowflakes hit the ground, and form a pure white layer and they never make a sound. All the footprints on the white, are cheering us more than bright. Smelling the sweetness of snow, a breeze flies blow and blow. The soft flakes feel like drops of ice when drifting on my face, and everything feels fresh and clean as I walk through this place. The trees are covered with a coat of freshly fallen snow, some have icy branches that give off a crystal glow. The only sound that I can hear is little wisps of wind. But only for a moment then the air is still again. Standing under the frozen sky, feeling a fluffy white and shy.

re: "u cant actually smell the sweetness of the snow" - Yes, of course you can. And snow does smell sweet, like wet mittens. And even if it didn't you could still smell its sweetness.

And how many users are you? I count three.

You may think that poems do not hav to rhyme...but i lyk rhyming cuz i think it enhances the poem. So personal opinions r not welcomed here.

PS(Next time plz do not purposely sabotage my poems. Instead of voting "0" purposely and anonymously, you can try posting your comments. Thanks~)<---for "kev_wannabe"

Are you insane? It's obvious you either are lil_evil_boi or a very close friend of his. Can you actually go through the day thinking 'Hey, there's somebody who really likes my poems! "Speechless", he said!' That's nuts.
[8] sacred_poet_me @ 70.68.76.244 > zodiac | 7-Jun-05/7:52 PM | Reply
So, what if I like his poems? It's so good that I'm speechless after I've done reading. So I dont think you should judge other people's comments just because they really like someone's poems. And by the way, I dont even know who lil_evil_boi in real life is. I wasnt trying to make him look good at all. I truly liked his poem.

"I dont even know who lil_evil_boi in real life is"

That's odd. He's using your computer. To log on 10 minutes before you, the last time I checked. Seems like you would have bumped into each other.

lil_evil_boi really should think about another username. lil_dumb_boi. But 14yearolds always think they cooked up the idea for the universe and all by themselves.

Just bcuz l_e_b and I hav the same ips #? You can hav the same ips numba but it can be two different people or more. Besides I go on poemranker @ school or the library(cuz I do not have an Internet access at home lately...broken computer) and I dont think l_e_b happens to live in the US too. Or else I would think what a coincidence. Since when you are so concerned about this?

It is so close to impossible that you and evil_boi could be logging on with the same IP ten minutes apart without knowing each other that it might as well be plain impossible.

I'm not "so concerned" about this. But I think if you're reduced to posting gushing comments on your own poems - to make up for a lack of interest in them, or real gushing comments on them, most likely - then you might as well leave. You'd only be fooling yourself, and not very well at that. And who likes to watch people trying to fool themselves? It's rather like watching some guy at a cocktail party try to get his pants up from around his ankles by furiously jumping up and down.

Due to the huge "discussion" and disagreement about the poem 'Faith', I decide to delete the poem to prevent further misunderstanding.

What misunderstanding?

I should never have mentioned the typor. The 'j' was what gave the bibletext the flavor of originality.

If he had simply admitted to posting a quote he remembers from youth and thought it was his own or some explanation like that, all could be forgiven. But when he deletes the poem, calling it a misunderstanding, I have to wonder if all his poems are copied from somewhere.

Maybe he got a call from God's lawyer

I absolutely didnt know about the 'Faith' poem in the Bible until numerous poeple bagan to discuss about this so called "plagiarized quote". And I'm not bluffing. This quote, or verse, derived from my father. When I was small, he used to always remind me of this verse. And tells me that the three most important qualities of a human are faith, confidence, and honesty. Also at that point all of the family members, including me, were atheists. We had no clue that this quote may be from some other text. As for where my father got this quote, he never told me. If this clarifies some of the disagreements and wonders, it's my pleasure to explain to the readers. Hopefuly this'll clear things up. Thanks.

PS(If you still think that I plagiarized this verse from the bible, and the whole story is just an excuse, I have nothing to say. Go ahead and believe what you think. I've shared the whole story related to this verse and if this didnt help, sorry.)

If you thought your father invented the phrase, it's still not YOUR phrase. You wouldn't even honor your own father? Lil_rotten_boi, you.

U saying that this is "plagiarism" but instead from text, its my father? How is this plagiarism? Besides this is even none of your business!
[n/a] Dovina @ 69.175.32.185 > lil_evil_boi | 9-Jun-05/8:13 PM | Reply
Even though your poem "Faith" is a direct quote from Hebrews 11:1, I take your word for it when you say you learned it from your father and did not copy it from the Bible. If you were a plagiarizer, I think it would have shown up in your other postings too; but as far as I can see it has not. I think everyone should get off your back about this.

Isn't that a little like saying, If you were a rapist you would have raped other women besides this one. You're probably just some misunderstood guy who was walking along minding his own business and happened to run smack into a woman's vagina.
