Goodbye (Free verse) by Dovina Tie the strings of that life
pay off the debts
make the apologies
compose a will
and a prayer
For I am leaving
to a far away life
untied to debt
and nothing to will
but my own little prayer
Too many stimuli
too many prudes
too few martinis
and too many lies
No more conforming
no following rules
just giving and taking
and playing with fools
Say Iâm deluded
I think itâs quite cool
vastly misled?
Where did you go to school?
From now on no moral
no standard, no home
just today and tomorrow
to ponder and roam
Iâll never go back
Iâm the way I came in
and when I go out
let it be in my sin

So, is this about something else, or are you leaving again? Nice poem, btw.
I'm not physically going anywhere, nor will I probably go anywhere in lifestyle. Sometimes it's good to just put a foot in and see how the water feels.

Are you leaving California or poemranker?
If you are (leaving poemranker), I'd like you to consider not.
Instead, you might try changing your idea that several poemranker users personally hate you (the thought never crossed my mind, for one,) and instead focusing on the things we've been pointing out from the beginning: namely, that your poetry often contains huge logical gaps, has practically no poetic elements, and takes a didactic tone that several users I know, including myself, find more than a little abrasive and arrogant. This IS a poetry comment and criticism site, you know.
