Goodbye (Free verse) by Dovina
Tie the strings of that life pay off the debts make the apologies compose a will and a prayer For I am leaving to a far away life untied to debt and nothing to will but my own little prayer Too many stimuli too many prudes too few martinis and too many lies No more conforming no following rules just giving and taking and playing with fools Say I’m deluded I think it’s quite cool vastly misled? Where did you go to school? From now on no moral no standard, no home just today and tomorrow to ponder and roam I’ll never go back I’m the way I came in and when I go out let it be in my sin
