although I feel the moment you're describing, I don't feel you've encapsulated it as well as you could have. the flow is off, for me, too much like prose.

Done-to-death subject matter, but above-average use of language, with impressive attention paid to those sharp consonant sounds in the middle lines. The author seems to have a developing talent.
