On A Cliff (Free verse) by colndodg
While standing alone on a cliff, I often wonder how deep it is. And how long I'll drop. We live so distant, so cold as ice. We are so forest for the trees. Sometimes, I stand on this cliff and leap, I jump to conclusions, I beg for forgivness I stand at the end of a cliff and pray for rain. While I stand on this cliff, I look down at clear forgotten waters, Watching waves giving in. Watching myself giving in, and falling.
