Mangled (Free verse) by Carvaceous
Step away, one small print away My heart tears, struggles Leave me gasping for air Some sweet release of warm embrace A touch behind my ear I quiver but step away again yet again Behold! Brave world I'm running Push me with all your might I'm tempted, so tempted to stay wrapped around and again some poor fools finger Ah, I can't play puppet. Puppeteer is vile. Where's my medium? Cruel world. No space for expansion I can't fly out this window only to be caged once again. Behind bars of sweet words that leave me bitter, after such a high Oh what a high!
