mutiny (Free verse) by Bill Z Bub
I'm off to sea now that the singular days of summer the hard light days the blinding white rays are here. barefoot inevitable slipping the stowaways barely move under the weight of invisible galactic terror polly is calling captain future come in captain future can't you read me? entwined in ripe planks, a crow's nest above the black freighter my lifeboat constructed from cadavers of faulty reasoning. guilty / not guilty your honour. you saw but the vaulting crater'd backs of secret sea beasts. looks like its to be the pirate's life for me not guilty by (voided) reason of in- san- ity.
