Dear Willy, from Romeo (Edit) (Free verse) by Sasha
" Love is a smoke rais'd with the fume of sighs; Being purg'd, a fire sparkling in lovers' eyes; Being vex'd, a sea nourish'd with lovers' tears. What is it else? " -Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, Act I Scene I Well, dear Willy, seems that you Aimed to show what love could do. Once I saw pure love, my gaze Torched it like a log ablaze, Tried to sigh its fumes of smoke, Felt my throat curl up and choke Sparked my eyes with all its fire, Burned them blind with wild desire, Then the sea of tears I'd cried Almost drowned me in the tide. Sickened by the things I’d tried I collapsed, passed out, and died.

Not bad, but I don't know if you should call this a lyric.
