Loneliness, Grief, and Other Emotions (Free verse) by MacFrantic
A host of inhibitions I The drought of the longest day soon ends This feeling to stray remains As only sin itself am I A caustic breath of saturation Bound by rain of a different color Moon of sorrow waxing I Copper heart beneath the sky Emaciated conscience choking Approaching vanity never I Such a solemn foothold of apprehension To speak to a wall and receive yourself

Down the ladder: Buried

I think you are playing around with poets who speak constantly of sadness. I hope so! If I knew so, I would give a 10.
