Diary (Free verse) by wilco
Place ink upon the paper, to solidify your thoughts. The tears make the color run, and add texture to your hands. There's nothing wrong with hoping but dreams die hard and fast. So place the book upon the table, and believe in what you have. I know you're scared, of the monsters in your room. They're only here for Christmas, and maybe New Years Day. Don't beg them for their mercy, they have no more to give. So burn that wretched tome, it's not really who you are. Compressed thoughts give hope to the notion that life can be placed on a page.

Up the ladder: The Acorn Daisies
Down the ladder: Blood on the Sidewalk

try pasting it into notepad first; I've been able to make indented poems without too much probs.

Pretty much the only thing it won't let you do is bold, etc. (and indent the first line).

It was just the way I had it indented....In Word, every line was indented a tab space past the previous one in a sideways V pattern with the (Haiku?) thingie in the middle....but, alas, it was not meant to be so the hell with it.

I find the Poemranker submit box, and most everything else about the site, very conducive to our craft, given http limitations.

I'm with you on this right up to "compressed thoughts." It seems to be saying that journaling is a good thing, which many of us think it is. Second to living, it's quite satisfying.
