It Won't Last Long (Free verse) by Spindle
I don’t know what I’ve signed up for But it won’t last long. I didn’t think it over too much But it won’t last long. So far it’s been pretty smooth But it’s only been a month. I’ve been waiting for something to happen But it’s only been a month. I’ve been crushed and rebuilt And it’s only been three months. I guess that was to show me not to get too attached Cause it’s only been three months. It’s amazing how close you can get In a matter of six months. I know I shouldn’t have given everything Cause it won’t matter in six months. I’ll be leaving and he’ll be gone In only three months. Who knew what we’d signed on for And what we’ll leave in three months. I hope this isn’t the last time that I don’t think things through. And I hope this isn’t the last moment I’ll get to spend with you.

Up the ladder: Try, Please Try
Down the ladder: nice day

At first, I thought this was about joining the Army and going through boot camp....

well, that's kind of how I felt about it too at first. He's my first boyfriend and I had no idea what I was doing; I was just going through the motions (only at first, obviously)
