while you're content wading in the creek
you roll your eyes with doubt
everytime I speak
of my ambition
You won't even listen about my passion, my dreams
I guess to you it just seems
so unreal
the way I feel
about life
Tied and bound by your negativity
If I don't get out it will contaminate me
I won't be discouraged
I won't stumble over your block
I'm leaving with my pride and courage
no more for you to mock
