a toast to the sky (Free verse) by tralala42001
time paces and then it comes back- a second chance? a second moment?- a third touch?-NO- a fourth shot spilt on the carpet holding a piece of flesh and yet the corpse is the one who enjoys the sun, moon, and stars-eats grass--> and the lips of the flesh leaves scars and burns on the rocks around the tree with moss leaking through feeding and eating on bark -old and tough- round and rough- indians believed in circles- we believed in squares- and i believed in you

Up the ladder: my friend beth we wear
Down the ladder: snot
