Passion (Free verse) by gothiclovepoetiss
Oh my god, your fingers touched my face, and took my breath away. You stare into my crystal blue eyes, I know what you’re thinking, but as I stare back into your extraordinary brown eyes I think to myself, is this true? I can’t believe that you love me, its easy to see that I love you too. But, its just wow, on how much you make my heart skip beats, my legs quiver, or how my breathe escapes me when you are around. I can hardily stand, because of my knees buckling, I can’t sit, I want to stand by your side and be with you until the end, and I can’t lay, your not always beside me. Even though physically your not, but my soul never leaves yours side, nor does my heart. My anything does everything for or because of you, an example: my heart beats for you, my hand yearns for yours, my soul burns for yours to come, and my arms want to hold you and never let you go.

Up the ladder: Izzy's Last Night
Down the ladder: My heart belongs to you

But it doesn't say anyhting that hasn't been said a thousand times before, and it offers nothing in the way of beautiful language or memorable structure.

Q: If you only felt like this because you'd heard love described in exactly the same terms God knows how many times, rather than - I don't know - somehow just spontaneously having this feeling, would you know? In other words, do your knees really, REALLY buckle? Please answer honestly.
