Becoming Indifferent (Free verse) by hmph
I want to be ridiculed by the tongues of thousands And dine with the kings of forsaken lands I want to drink the blood of all my enemies And cleanse the Earth with my own hands I want to scorch the flesh of many And blacken the dark-winged summer I want to flip the lightswitch off And make myself feel number I want to destroy God's creations And make my feelings dull I want to watch his empire tremble And lynch the ones responsible

Up the ladder: Summer Thunder
Down the ladder: Listen

i know that feeling well. The "summer/number" is a little awkward, though. Very cool, overall.

?

Wasn't I who?

I probably did contradict myself; it was more of a stream-of-consciousness thing that just happened to rhyme.
