Runaway (Free verse) by Cougarchic
Everyone thinks their family's the worst. What do they do? Runaway of-course! They run from their problems. Not toward their dreams. They think it will help them to run far away. It's to late when the realize they just should have stayed Faced up to their problems, took hold of their dreams When they sit with the homeless, and wonder why hadn't they stayed

Up the ladder: HALF
Down the ladder: Where Did You Go?

So your saying don't run away? Jog in? walk within? Do the homeless have a harmonica or a quartet around a burn barrel?

i think this could be shortened, or slightly less repetitive, you use the same word- ex stayed and run and away too often. change it up a little.
