Nocturnal Emissions (Free verse) by EAger to Offend
Ruined by the mundane day By it’s “wake, work, and get paid” By the blasé art of commerce A sterile compost -the city. Starving for solitude In the darkest a.m. panic These eyes stay wide To deny the nightmare congestion Imprinted under-lid. Eager to offend I lick my plate And meditate On my home-made mandala Wallpaper.

Up the ladder: Highschool in My Head
Down the ladder: Heather Graham

i think loose "-the city" and put a suitable modifier on "compost" (like "urban" or sumfin').

other than that, and the contradiction between being eager to offend and pursuing a hindu or buddhist way - not to shabby.

Massive points for the flowing "home-made mandala
Wallpaper"

"I lick my plate
And meditate" won me over.
