Megan (Free verse) by RaVensEternalFire
Sometimes I wonder why And dream of the look in your eyes. When you told him goodbye, And all these things that seem to Pierce you, but seemingly you never feel. Searching for a prince, but have you known, But can’t you feel in the depth of your soul. Every rose has it’s day, and every moment Gives way. To a new emotion, and new devotions. Love always does stray. But you never let it get away. Walk away when your afraid, rather than see Whatever is meant to be. Sometimes, watching you as you go, And the way it all seems to everyone but me. When you laugh, inside you cry. Every time you say goodbye, But can you just feel Dotn think Don’t analyze. Just feel. But perhaps it is never real. These strange things that I feel. Every day we seem to walk away Into wilderness never known. Moments I want to be your friend, Stay by your side and never let it end. I see such promise in you, And wish you knew it too. Despite all the pain, Judgements and betrayals.. Underneath it is clear Your someone whos very dear. In the end, I cant pretend Understanding of this my friend. People come, and People go, but not everyone touches your soul.
