As It Is (Lyric) by Miggy
Counting down the days
âTill I could bust the doors open
Now it is time to play
Than to do a single chore
(Bridge)
Itâs not that were even bad
Nor ever that I was sad
But Iâm going for something
Something elseâ¦
(Chorus)
Iâm a simple defiance
Not to gain the world
I need independence
To have another turn
Cause I am just a kid
Whoâs waiting for fun
So leave my life as it is
Then I could be someone
No more cheaply allowance
Hello brand new car
Hated curfew after dark
As now I can get very far
(Bridge)
(Chorus)
Finally getting out today
Never been so glad
Finding a new way
Cause Iâm never coming back
All you have are memories
Of the many years with me
I step into reality
Hoping to make you see
(Chorus/End)

and that first line in the bridge - maybe a missing word in there; give it a read.
lastly - the bridge was a bit soon for me. Maybe develop the hookline in that second bit and move the bridge down - just as a suggestion.
