i heard footfalls above when i tried to sleep, slipping into a dream i heard the feet moving and making the bed creak as i moved. i heard that too, the lights were out and above me, the footfalls fell falling and then i heard steps next to my bed on the floor next to me. creaking floor creaking, i sat straight up screaming. and running downstairs to my parents they said: "go back to bed, it's just your imagination." But i know it wasn't, i know it wasn't because i heard music too and somebody whispered... somebody died there. i just know it.
