Hard To Tell (Free verse) by New Life Drug
So the sun has set, now summer feels years away as cold brushes against my face, I can't feel you but fall is here again Reaching for sleep, so hard to find these nights with you on my mind. The warm earth never goes away even when rain falls, just like your words playing like a movie in my head And streets with names remind me of loud sounds I used to hear. Can the ground mean something, other than muddy shoes? And when will the stars be gone for good, while I wait for time to pass? If I closed my eyes now, would it all come back to me? It's so hard to tell...

Up the ladder: Chaos
Down the ladder: Within
