I tell myself that everyone else has changed But I'm the only one who has It's only now that I've realized All the dreams I used to have Were just that- dreams Unrealistic They're the only reason that I'm here But I'd rather be unrealistic than aimless, apathetic So I pretend and strive for perfection And I create this image in my head I want to be a completely different person But I'm stuck with this routine instead I'd like to think I'm important to someone, that I'll make something out of my life And I'll leave behind all these insecurities And someday, my life will be perfect But I let down myself again Dreams- unrealistic the only reason that I'm here But I'd rather be unrealistic than aimless, apathetic... Escape reality. Don't wake me, the only time I'm truly happy Don't wake me, the only time I truly feel I'm lying to you when I say I don't care that this is not at all real.

i know how you feel and what you are trying to put out there - but your lyric has the predictability of any high school band. keep writing though - you have potential.
