Census (Free verse) by dragonfly I've heard it so many times
it's become embedded in my head,
rotating like a wheel.
Mom was right when she said
I'd never amount to much
and others agreed.
The census is in:
"He'll never succeed."

Tug of War
Down the ladder:
The Mocking Bird
