First Love (Free verse) by Mr Pig
You made me insular. Touched me deftly like a sculptress, leaving me as your masterpiece, To stare at the raging kiln. We had a beginning, You had an end, But I've been left unfinished, Austere stillness, amok in memories. I crack and crumble, In to terracotta vapors, lingering a glorious moment, then dissipating, like our love.

Up the ladder: When Jesus Found Me
Down the ladder: interlude

From kindergarten until mid-high, I hung on any piece of info that she might come back. She never did. I never will.

Mr Pig,

You be da man! Smooth like silk baby! Again, your work is mature, tastey, and meaningful!! Joe.

I do not see how "insular" fits.
Liked the idea of the person being created by the lover the way a sculptor (or in this case sculptress) creates a ceramic piece. And carrying it through, where like a piece of terracotta, it crumbles into nothing.
