Both Of me (Free verse) by Lady_of_the_night
she cries but you ignore her why wont you help her i know you hear the whimpering the screams are unbearable How can you just pretend you cannot hear Shes crying alone shes filled with fear everything she ever cared about is slowly crumbling around her confused and angry she doesnt know what to do But beg and plead for help from you and you just sit there, this evil soul who doesnt want to know The only one who can help yet the only one who doesnt care Blood falling like tears shes just lying there on the outside she wears a mask shes grown up But deep down inside theres a scared little child just hiding behind all that she can The woman who wants to break free and be independant in this world kicked and punched knocked down by the little girl Years of pain still holding her back shes doing all she can but the fight it never stops between the both of who I am

Down the ladder: midnight, on a weekday

Try actually asking. Communicating is more than insults, tantrums and posture. It takes both subjects to compromise.
