Emotion Dawns (Concrete) by Nightmare-Poet
To find the sanguine moment I pray to fully enjoy My emotions shall light The darkness I employ In my loneliness In my darkest hour Shadows shall fall upon my fear To release my inner most desire I shall walk in solitude Bare foot on dew moist grass Under the fiery sky of dawn In my hunger for compassionate embrace The angels shall return a smile to my face To return my loneliness to the past To fall as a shadow across the ground My dreams shall sail as a boat Across the oceans of my mind To the dawning sun of my destiny

I am always amazed at all the sad poems on here that employ nursery rhyme verse.
