The Best This Dream Can Offer (Lyric) by Deborah Carter
Chances are i'll see you in my dreams again tonight things will be the same as when we met in my mind our love remains and though we are apart my heart just somehow can't believe it yet In my dreams I still have visions of your smiling face the life you gave at the touch of fingertips and though fate has intervened and left my heart stone cold with memory there is warmth within your kiss somehow each night you come to me upon a whispered prayer the darkness shrouds my needs of wanting more for only in my dreams will all the longings be fullfilled in the arms of the man that I adore chances are I'll see you in a place that's called somewhere for between the hours of darkness and the dawn lying here beside you is the best this dream can offer for when the morning comes you'll be gone (c)Deborah Carter

Welcome to Poemranker. I am your host, William Zanzibar Bubbington III.
"Boss, boss, ze prawne! Ze prawne!"

Okay, I'm not really your host. I'm just a bored regular. Are you a singer/songwriter?

Bill...thank you for your warm welcome...nice to be here. In answer to your question. I definately am not a singer nor songwriter per say. Whenever I write, I hear music...it is with me continuously. Every poem I've written is a song in my head.I have no formal education in music so I can only write the words.

I noticed this one is not arranged by Bill Murray...do you have another version or has this one not been edited as yet

Welcome to Poemeranker. I am -=Dark_Angel=-, the naughty one. You will probably see me again at some point, mocking your tepid, clichéd poemes. Have a good time!

Haha, sorry... I try and see the best in poems but this one didn't seem to make me feel anything at all. I'll say this for you, you managed you be a little chiche, without diving off the deep end but your words fail to make any emotion conection to me. Not Bad, Not Good. Nothing really outstanding other than it doesn't strike me as either good writing or bad. Since I feel neutral to this poem -5-.
