she wonders, (Other) by <~>
would he hold her through the night? will he spoon her? and, if he might do those things she loves so much: wake her gently, a kiss, a touch softly, slowly, without a sound until, in her, himself had drowned so that they two, their limbs entwined all other thoughts left far behind could in the night go to that place that lovers find when they embrace she wonders, will he take her there? might he do it? will he dare? she wonders.

Up the ladder: A moment, homeward
Down the ladder: Morning conflict

Young ladies are just so damn cute until they grow up and turn into Unsavory Hydras. Do me a favor. Don't change. Just remember men will do anything for sex, so odds are. He will.

As a committed Christian, I found this poeme to be rather lewd and distasteful.

If he isn't naturally inclined to, it's never to hard to make them do what you'd like..

If he doesn't do these things , he is a cad and a bounder. I'm sure he could be persuaded.

Maybe he'll opt-out for dignity, or maybe he'll realize he might not get another chance for a while. A bird in the bed is better then 2 in the bar. Take it while you can... that's my motto. I enjoy the representation of a femme waiting for the man to make a move. I suppose that has something to do with dignity too. But my head tells me it's got more to do with gender roles and good girl ethics. Both are still prevelant out there, so that makes this poem valuable. 6/10

there was more at stake than he and me.

All other thoughts left far behind??? what does she want. She sounds like she wants him to take her there. The more I read it the more I like it.

she does indeed want to go there with him, and for him to leave all else behind, and be hers, even if only for the time they are together. she wants this very much, and would gladly pay the price; he cannot afford what i ask...all.

That's tough. I'd like to see a poem about that. Is there one? Also I saw a beautiful guitar shaped poem of yours but had to leave my desk and now I can't find it. What's the title?

love song. it's my violin. it's him. it's how i'll make it this winter. your november foothills poem: i don't run to the hills, i drown. this winter, i will drown in her voice, instead of his.

'she wonders' is the only one (for him) that i have put here. it is not over for me; i still sift him out of my thoughts, when i catch the memories. more thoughts of him will be posted; they must be pared down first, and the core bared.

Dreamy, and painful--now that i've read the comments. Hang in there; lots of fish in the sea (I know you don't want to hear that, but give it some time, dear, give it some time.)

I've come back to this. Will he dare? He would have to, wouldn't he? Or what kind of a man is he?

a married man, christof. shw should stay away from him, if she knows what's good for her. trouble is, she listens to her heart and not her head.
