would he hold her through the night? will he spoon her? and, if he might do those things she loves so much: wake her gently, a kiss, a touch softly, slowly, without a sound until, in her, himself had drowned so that they two, their limbs entwined all other thoughts left far behind could in the night go to that place that lovers find when they embrace she wonders, will he take her there? might he do it? will he dare? she wonders.

Dreamy, and painful--now that i've read the comments. Hang in there; lots of fish in the sea (I know you don't want to hear that, but give it some time, dear, give it some time.)
